In order to register, we will need to collect the required paperwork (available from Registrar or to download below), a copy of the child's birth certificate and/or adoption certificate, and a $75 non-refundable registration fee.
For the 2010-2011 school year we are offering five different class options:
- 2/3 year olds
- 3/4 year olds 2 day
- 3/4 year olds 3 day
- 4/5 year olds (Pre-K) 3 day
- 4/5 year olds (Pre-K) add on 2 day enrichment program
The 2/3 and 3/4 classes will meet in the morning. We are offering the 4/5 3 day class in the morning OR afternoon. The add-on 2 day enrichment for the 4/5 class is offered ONLY in the afternoon. However, if you enroll in the 4/5 morning program, you can still enroll in the afternoon add-on enrichment program. You may not enroll in the add-on enrichment class independently of the 3 day program.
Class Times and 2010-2011 Monthly Tuition:
- 2/3: T/Th, 9:30-11:30 $120
- 3/4: T/Th, 9:15-11:45 $130
- 3/4: M/W/F 9:15-11:45 $165
- 4/5: M/W/F 9:15-11:45 $165
- 4/5: M/W/F 12:30-3:00 $165
- 4/5: T/Th 12:30-3:00 $110
Grayslake Cooperative Nursery School is the only cooperative preschool in Grayslake and has been enriching the lives of the children of our community for over 30 years.
Registration is ongoing for ages 2 1/2 thru Pre-K for the current school year. We still have a limited number of spots left in some classes!

The current Board of Directors is already beginning to plan the board for 2010-2011. If you want to help plan the events that happen at YOUR child's preschool, consider sitting on GCNS' Board of Directors. About Our Preschool
The Grayslake Cooperative Nursery School was started in 1976 by a group of mothers who were looking for a quality preschool with a focus on socialization and a positive start to the school experience.
Grayslake Cooperative Nursery School has been educating young children in Grayslake and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are parents and educators dedicated to developing children academically, emotionally, socially and physically in a nurturing, family-focused environment.
